MFRC522 RFID IC

Hello everyone,

I am working with MFRC522 in our project. I can't properly design RFID coil antenna for our project. How can I determine parameters such as the thickness of the coppers and the space between them when designing the antenna?

Thanks for contacting NXP support.

MFRC522 is no longer supported, and all its public information is just the data sheet and the AN https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/application-note/149110.zip. For new designs, NXP recommends using CLRC663 plus Family.

At this page you can find some guide for antenna, it may help. And if you still want to use MFRC522, you can consult with this AN: AN1445 :Antenna design guide for MFRC52x, PN51x and PN53x.
