AFM907N Biasing

Hi There,

I would like to know if external DC blocking and RF choke are necessary for biasing the part.

Yes, this device needs gate and drain biasing. Gate bias can use RF choke and/or resistor (for stability). Drain bias requires RF choke for efficiency. Amplifier must provide DC blocking at input and output. You can find reference circuits in the device datasheet.
