Hello NXP Team,
We are using W8897 Wi-Fi/BT chipset and SD-WLAN-SD-BT-8897-AO_LINUX_4_9_70-BG4CT-W15.68.19.p59-15.26.19.p59-C4X15698_B0B1-GPL driver release package. The platform is running Android-11 OS.
We are planning to certify Wi-Fi4, Wi-Fi5, SVD, FFD, WPA2SI, PMF, WPA3-R2+R3. We have confirmed majority support of the test cases from our end but, We require your support in confirming if the below mentioned features are supported on Wi-Fi chipset and driver release version or not. The DUT is running as STAUT.
PFA for the attached zip of feature test cases.

Hello @nandan-khant ,
You can only do the items required by the WFA lab, these items are supported by our products. For those optional test items, you can omit the certification test.
I filled some items in your DUT_features, for you reference.
you can confiirm it with WFA lab.

Hello @weidong_sun,
Thank you for the responses.
Can you please clarify the below point.
NOTE: The support of 2 Spatial Streams (2X2) is mention in release notes of driver.
Thanks and Regards,
Nandan Khant
Hello @nandan-khant ,
>>Does 2.4GHz and 5Ghz supports only for 1 Spatial Stream?
The question is a little strange.
Since 2X2 MIMO is mentioned in released note, so if not only support 1 Spatial Stream.
Regards,
weidong
Hello @weidong_sun,
I am not able to conclude from your response if 2SS is supported or not.
Please refer to the attached images and help to clarify if 2.4GHz and 5Ghz support 2 Spatial Streams.
Thanks and Regards,
Nandan Khant
Hello @nandan-khant ,
>>if 2.4GHz and 5Ghz support 2 Spatial Streams.
yes.
--2.4G : 2 Spatial Streams.
--5G: 2 Spatial Streams.

weidong
Hello @nandan-khant ,
Normally this form should be completed by you together with the WFA lab.
Each feature is listed in our driver release note, you can refer to it.
Our suggestion is to do the test items required by the WFA lab, and the optional test items can be omitted.
When you encounter a problem with a test project, we will provide support.

weidong
Hello @weidong_sun
We are using NXP_WTS_AGENT_Source-R1.9 package for pre-certification for Android OS.
We are facing problems with testing 11n test cases. (11n_5.2.35_AN)
By default, we are using the wlan0 sta interface with driver load parameter sta_name=wlan.
We cannot see any packets of DUT in the sniffer with the wlan0 interface. We replaced the DUT sta interface with the mlan0 interface.
After replacing it, we can see the packets of DUT STA. But the DUT STA is not able to connect successfully with reference AP.
Driver load parameters:
insmod /vendor/lib/modules/mlan.ko
insmod vendor/lib/modules/sd8897.ko fw_name=nxp/sd8897_uapsta.bin host_mlme=1 drvdbg=0x6 cfg80211_wext=0xf sta_name=wlan wfd_name=p2p max_vir_bss=1 drv_mode=7 p2p_enh=1 wakelock_timeout=30 shutdown_hs=1
Attaching logs for your reference.
Please help to resolve the issue.

Nandan Khant
Hi @nandan-khant ,
For a new question, please re-create another case for it in our system or community!

Hello @weidong_sun ,
I have already referred to the release notes and updated the most parts. Seeking the support for the remaining parts which are not clear from the release notes.
