Can someone point me towards the Linux wireless driver for the IW611 chip for Linux?
Is this something that is going to be in /drivers/net/wireless ? Which kernel did it first appear in?
I don't think this module is going to use something like the Qualcomm ATH11K driver or anything, is it?
I do not see anything under the 'Software' section on the IW611 product page: https://www.nxp.com/products/wireless-connectivity/wi-fi-plus-bluetooth-plus-802-15-4/2-4-5ghz-dual-...
I apologize if this is a basic question.

Hello @roneisworth
You can go to IW611: 2.4/5 GHz Dual-band 1x1 Wi-Fi® 6 (802.11ax) + Bluetooth® 5.2 Solution | NXP Semiconductors: Design Resources --> Software --> Secure Files for all available drivers. But you need to sign NDA and request software access yourself.
We also have open-source drivers available: https://www.nxp.com/webapp/Download?colCode=UM11675
Best Regards

Hi
May I ask if there is any IW611 WiFi driver for FreeRTOS? Thanks!
