Matter Smart Plug

I have iMx8MM and planning to connect a smart plug (which is Matter compliant device), that was brought off the shelve, through wi-fi interface. Have problem with commissioning the device with the imx8mm boarder router.

iMx8MM is running yocto mickledore image with matter layer.

Is it possible to connect smart plug directly to imx8mm that will act as a controller?

        Thanks for the references.

        I did go through the documents and had followed it for building yocto image and also tried pairing smart-plug through wifi but was still unsuccessful.

       Can you confirm if we can pair matter complaint smart-plug using chip tool?

       I'm trying to send "chip-tool pairing code-wifi nodeID $WI-FI $PASSWORD manual_code" from border router (i.MX8MM)

The issue gets resolved if I bypass the attestation verifier with chip tool.
