1ZM module with i.MX RT1170 MCU BT over UART interface getting stuck

We use the 1ZM module with an i.MX RT1170 MCU. When working with the BT over a UART interface we encounter an issue from time to time the 1ZM module stops responding and the CTS line goes high. We are unable to recover from this situation. Is there any way to understand why we are unable to send commands/data to the module when this happens? Is there any gracefully way to reset only the BT stack? maybe by creating some condition on the UART lines?
