Hello Timesys team,

Since I updated the factory (from 20131105 to 20141006), the board lose an hour each time it reboots.

The timezone file still the same (Europe/Paris), and the RTC battery is about 3.0V.

According to the S06-hwclock script, hwclock is started like this: hwclock --systz --localtime

and stopped like that: hwclock --systohc

What can be done to solve this?

Regards,

Emmanuel

Hello Nouchi,

What Vybrid platform are you working with? If this is Vybrid Tower Module - what revision of the hardware are you using? Once we know this information, we can better determine what may have changed. Is it correct to assume time was kept correctly before you updated?

There is a known hardware bug with the RTC on older Vybrid Tower modules, as described here:

You have also commented on the above thread - so you are likely already familiar.

Hello,

The platform is our own board based on Vybrid Tower Module, the silicon mask revision is 2N02G, one of the newest.

Weird, since I rebuilt the RFS, it works again.

Thanks
