What are the plans for the FRDM-KL25Z going forward? Its availability has been quite limited. It's the target platform for my textbook and two large embedded systems courses I teach at NC State University. Could someone from the NXP University Program please contact me?
Thanks,
Alex
I have heard nothing. I see that NXP recently announced the apparent Kinetis L successor (MCX L), with the FRDM form factor boards available. However, there sure are a lot of other interesting Cortex-M-based microcontrollers available from Raspberry Pi (Pico), Renesas, STMicro, Infineon/Cypress, Microchip, TI, etc...
If I do ever hear anything, I'll update this thread.
By the way, the Embedded Systems Fundamentals books are now available for free download! PDFs of both the first (NXP FRDM-KL25Z) and second (ST Nucleo-F091RC) editions are now available from the Arm University Github site.
Did you hear anything or learn anything?
What's the status with the NXP University Programs?
