Hi, I am trying to restore backup of my datasets in NXP TagWriter 6.1.0 - bookmarks prepared for NTAG213 with uid and interaction counter mirroring.
I save .twdb file but when I load it back its not correctly loaded into TagWriter.
{"cardTypeString":"NTAG213","gpioStatusEnabled":false,"gpioStatusOffset":-1,"mByteOffsetForCounter":3,"mByteOffsetForTT":-1,"mByteOffsetForUID":0,"mCounterOffset":-1,"mEnableCounter":true,"mEnableEncryptedFileDataMirroring":false,"mEnableNTAG413DNASDMAndMirroring":false,"mEnableNTAG413DNASUMMessage":false,"mEnableNTAG424DNASDMMirroring":false,"mEnableSDMReadCounterLimit":false,"mEnableTT":false,"mEnableUID":true,"mEncryptionDataLength":-1,"mEncrytionDataOffset":-1,"mMACInputOffset":-1,"mMACOffset":-1,"mNTag22xEnableMirrorConfiguration":false,"mNtag22xEnableNfcCounter":false,"mPICCOffset":-1,"mPageOffsetForCounter":5,"mPageOffsetForTT":-1,"mPageOffsetForUID":17,"mSdmCounterRetrievalKey":-1,"mSdmFileReadAccessKey":-1,"mSdmMetaReadAccessRight":-1,"mSdmReadCounterLimit":[0,0,0],"mTTCustomMessageEnabled":false,"mTTMessage":[0,0,0,0],"mTTStatusOffset":-1,"mUIDOffset":-1,"ttStatus":0}
This is part of data inside exported twdb file. Clearly it is supposed to be NTAG213 but after loading back to app its completly messed up (see picture).
Hello @peku,
Hope you are doing well.
Please, consider that TagWriter app is intended for testing purposes.
After importing a dataset backup, it should be merged as expected into My datasets. The screen shown in your picture is the default screen for editing/configuring the mirror features, but your dataset should actually have remained unchanged.

Eduardo.
Hi,
The issue is definitely a bug—it genuinely doesn't work. When you load a backup back into TagWriter, it disables the UID and Interaction Counter, and it also changes the tag type from NTAG213 to NTAG210.
I discovered this while trying to find a workaround, because importing from a CSV file doesn't work either. It's impossible to import a CSV for NTAG213, and the UID mirror and Interaction Counter features also don't function correctly.
Hi,
I will try to report this behavior; however, I cannot guarantee that a workaround or fix will be released. Please, consider that this application is intended for testing purposes. I truly apologize for the inconvenience.
Regarding the CSV file, perhaps you may find some useful information in this Community post: Error "Not valid NDEF records found" when trying to select a CSV in TagWriter for Android - NXP Comm....
