codewarrior for T4240

Hi,

I've looked over the download selections at the FreeScale CodeWarrior site and can't figure out which version is the correct one for supporting installation of QCVS, so that I can edit the RCW for the T4240.

That is all I need CodeWarrior for - we are targeting VxWorks and have no interest in CodeWarrior beyond RCW edits.

Can anyone here point me to the correct download?

Hi,

You have three possibilities:

1. Install over eclipse using update site;

2. Install over CodeWarrior for Power Architerctures;

3. Install during CodeWarrior for ARMv7 installation;

Please refer to QCVS installation guide.

My response to  your 3 options:

1) using update site in the installation guide (at link you included - thank you) results in:

  You don't have permission to access /lgfiles/updates/Eclipse/QCVS/ on this server.

Can you please provide the correct link (I have Eclipse 4.4.1 Luna installed)?

2) I don't see a download for a CodeW for Power Architecture - can you please provide a link?

3) We are targeting T4240 PPC architecture - how is it ARMv7 install will work correctly for our target?

For eclipse 4.4.x it is mandatory to by installed the Freescale Updater attached, before QCVS installation.
