I just buy a new T4240QDS-PB, but the com port output nothing while I power it.
Please provide photos of:
1) on-board inscriptions and stickers
2) on-board LEDs when the board is powered
Please ensure that you've correctly connected the UART port to a PC.
I forgot to take photo of the on-board inscriptions and stickers. But the order No. is ST88769454. I sure that the connection between the UART and the PC is correct.
Please check that the board is powered properly - refer to the T4240 QDS Quick Start Guide, 4.1 Connection Settings, 3. Power Supply.
Three LEDs glowing simultaneously - SLEEP, PASS, FAIL - could indicate that the processor is stuck in reset.
You can disable RESET_REQ handling to check that by selecting SW[5:6]=00.
How to select SW[5:6]=00?
Sorry for the typo - SW6[5:6] should be set OFF:OFF
I set the SW6=0X0F and SW5=0XE2，the problem still exist.
I also set the SW5=0X0 and SW6=0X0, the problem is same as above.
Please doublecheck settings of all on-board switches referring the SDK Documentation:

If the issue still present I assume that this could be a manufacturing defect and warranty replacement has to be performed.
