I open this question because I need to know the thermal protection implemented by the T2080.
The T2080 provides means to be able to control an external over-temperature protection through a device such as a CPLD. But my question is, does the T2080 have the means to protect itself against a very high temperature rise? We are talking about occasions where the TJMax of the device is exceeded.
I have not found any information about it, but doing tests on a design that does not control the alarm signals provided by the T2080, we have found that above 105ºC, about 130ºC the device shuts down and we do not know if it is due to some protection of the T2080.
