T2080 Core power supply

Hi,

Iam using T2080 processor in my design, the core supply is taking around 20A of current.

I have selected a part with 60A part with dual outputs (each output support 30A). One output of the regulator will be using for T2080 Core supply and other output to other source.

Can i do it in that way? or Complete 60A regulator is required for T2080.

And in T2080 evaluation board, T2080 needs max 25A for the core but still kept 60A regulator.

Can anyone tell me why 60A regulator has been kept in the evaluation board?

Hi @Har_ika30,

You can select regulator based on your current requirement. Based on your requirement which 20A if you are selecting 30A then its fine.
