Hi All,

I have one query about T2080 processor core frequency min and max value. As per "IP Logic Clock Distribution and Configuration"  section described in Reference manual of T2080, I have assumed that, based on "CGA_PLL1_RAT" value if our system clock is 66.67Mhz, our core frequency can vary from 333.35MHz (min) to 2000MHz (max). Please correct me if i am wrong and suggest me to control the core frequency to minimum and maximum value.

Advance Thanks.

Please refer to the QorIQ T2080 Data Sheet, Table 121. Processor, platform, and memory clocking specifications:

Hi fedor, Thanks for your quick response. Still i have some queries in the table which you have shared. In Table 121, I want to know about differences between "Core cluster group PLL frequency" & "Core cluster frequency" term. In those two terms, which one is talk about processor core frequency? If I want to operate my core at lowest frequency (ex.500MHz)

then, how to calculate my core frequency and with what terms?

The system clock (SYSCLK), is the primary clock input and is the clock source for the core cluster group PLL. The core cluster group PLL output is assigned to the core cluster using the C1_PLL_SEL field in the RCW.

Please refer to the QorIQ T2080 Reference Manual.
