Hai

I am using t2080 QorIQ Series processor in my design ,I found in the reference schematic that the flash chip connected to t2080 (data line0 is connected to data pin 15 of flash chip )

why is this reversal  in connectivity. Is there any specific reason ?

regards

Yes, PowerPC and Power ISA architectures have a specific feature, Most Significant Bit (MSB) has index 0. So IFC_AD[0] is the MSB on the bus and it should be connected to MSB of the NOR flash, that is DQ[15]. This expalins "reversal" in connectivity on the IFC bus.
