Checking on the part status of T1042 and its evaluation board

Dear Team,

We are planning to use T1042 in one of our future projects. While checking on the evaluation board of T1042, it seems to be Obsolete. Could you confirm whether the T1042 Processor is still recommended for new designs or do we need to replace it with a similar part. Also since, the CodeWarrior TAP is mentioned as it is no longer manufactured, kindly provide an alternate debugging tool.

It seems the T1040D4RDB-PA is recommended for the T1042 evaluation.

 CodeWarrior TAP is still active and could be ordered, and the internal team will fix the "no longer manufactured".

The T1042 processor is still recommended for new designs and remains in the Longevity Program until February 2035.

Please note that only the status NRND means “Not Recommended for New Designs.” The current status for T1042 is ACTIVE.

But this is an older product, and the official software support is QorIQ Linux SDK 2.0-1703. There is no SDK upgrade plan for this product.
