If you plan to use the FRDM-MULTI-B board with any Freedom boards (FRDM-KL25Z, FRDM-K64F, etc..) and want to use the Li-Ion battery on the FRDM-MULTI-B board, make sure you have Jumper J22 inserted on the FRDM-MULTI-B.
When you plug in the USB cable to the base board (FRDM-KL25Z, FRDM-K64F, etc..), it will charge the Li-Ion battery regardless of the SW1 switch position, but if J22 is not inserted, the Li-Ion battery will not power the base board.
