Below is query from customer regarding below sensors :
MPX2053, 50 kPa Temperature Compensated Pressure Sensors-Product data sheet (nxp.com.cn)
MPXV2050G, 50 kPa Temperature Compensated Pressure Sensors-Product data sheet (nxp.com.cn)
Query :
1. Do these sensors require P1 facing the positive pressure point and P2 to face the vacuum point and based on the pressure difference between P1 and P2 the output is delivered ?
2. Also, should P1>P2 condition to be maintained ?
3. In our application the pressure sensing port remains the same and it varies from -5 to +5 psi based on the device mode of operation. Do these sensors support pressure sensing in this configuration?
4. To measure +ve pressure P1 to be connected to the pressure sensing point and P2 left open to ambient, but to sense vacuum on the same pressure sensing point (P1), keeping the P2 at ambient pressure will violate the P1>P2 condition. Is this understanding correct ?
5. Are these sensors support pressure sensing on the liquid media (Saline) or just support only air/gas?
Kindly provide the feedback.

Jasper
