I have MPX5010DP pressure sensor. What is the accuracy/error?

Here is the datasheet:

https://www.nxp.com/docs/en/data-sheet/MPX5010.pdf

Is this 5% of a reading (so it changes and is bigger for bigger readings) or is it 5% of VFSS (Voltage of Full Scale Span) which is 5% of 4.5V for 5V supply (so the error is the same for all readings). There is also error from transfer function depending on temperature and pressure. So should I add these 3 errors so I can obtain information on reading accuracy or choose one of the 3? It's written so unclearly

I've got this equation

Vout=Vs x (0.09 X P +0.04) +/- 5% Vfss

So total error should I calculate from pressure value error(bigger with bigger readings) and  vfss error(constant)? Or that +/- 5% Vfss is the only error (and we have only constant reading error)? Or should I should I just assume total error equal +/-5% of a reading (bigger with bigger readings)?

Hi Bruno,

The worst accuracy is +/- 5% of Vfss, which is +/- 0.225V for a 5V supply.

So the transfer function for a 5V supply and temperature from 0°C to +85°C is:

Vout = 5 x (0.09 x P + 0.04) +/- 0.225V

Best regards,

Tomas
