There is no special testing of our sensors using sea water, however for standard pressure sensor products, any environment other than dry and clean air, will have some impact on the reliability and lifetime of the product. In general, our pressure sensors were designed and are warranted for use under this conditions. However, we offer an application note (AN3728) that mentions the media compatibility for our pressure sensors.
In the application where the device is exposed to a humid environment, the device is located at the top of a measurement tube - so water level is indirectly measured through the water pushing a trapped air column up to the sensor. As you can see in the following application notes, the sensor does not have a direct contact with water, but is separated by the air column.
