Dear community,

I consider the Supply voltage (VDD) specification .

In Table2. Maximum ratings of DataSheet Rev3.3,
the supply voltage maximum value is 3.6v .

Meanwhile, in Table5. Electrical characteristics,
the supply voltage maximum value is 3.6v .

[Question]
Why are two parameters the same value ?

I believe that the Absolute maximum rating is more bigger .

Best Regards,

Dear Koichi-san,

The TSMC specification indicates a max voltage of 3.6V and this was used for max operating and absolute max specs. We cannot put a higher value than our supplier puts. Also other customers have asked in the past what happens if small variations in power supply take the voltage above 3.6V slightly or in transient fashion. The MMA8652FC should certainly survive this but we cannot ever guarantee this in writing because TSMC does not, or may have special conditions on this.

Best regards,

Tomas
