My FXOS8700 sensor is applied on MX6 based android platform. When both of acc and mag sensor in FXOS8700 enabled, everything okay. But when I
only enable accelerometer in FXOS8700, it's g value in 3-axis won't be updated sometimes. Driver is from Freescale (attached files).
Anyone got similar issue?

Hi Raymond,
Yes , the code is availble in free scale. Me also same issue. I also working on FXOS8700CQ sensor.
O.S: Kernel 3.0.35
Board : Wand board
i.Mx6 solo Multimedia processor
You download the BSP for the WandBoard from the FSL site? right? Because this is not the official FSL BSP, which it is only for the SABRE SDP, SDB and Auto.
Hi Jamesbone,
Thanks for the reply.since we are using i.Mx 6solo processor in our project. we need support for FXOS8700CQ accelerometer source code.kindly oblige.

Hello Raymond,
Can you please tell me where do you get this source code?, Because in the Freescale Official Boards with i.MX6 there is no FXOS8700, which makes me the doubt if the driver has been tested and it is just and add on to the BSP of a custom board. Can you please clarify if this is the case?
Have a great day,
Jaime

Hi ,
The same issue. The source code is avilble on freescale. I also tries it. At initial stage it is working minimum time like generating events for 20sec. Now I am not getting any out put. No error messages. probe is calling fine.
presently I am working on i.Mx 6solo ; Linux version:3.0.35; wand board. If any one have proper solution/source code for this ?
This driver is fetched from FreeScale. Our board is a custom board based on MX6Q SabreSD. Acc and Mag function are verified. This issue is reported recently by our TE.
