SE052 keep bricking! 0xFFFF

Hello,

I have 10 x SE052 chips embeded to prototype NFC cards for testing. 
After some time, after injecting / deleting they begin to fail with 0xFFFF. get memory and UID queries continue to work without issue, but any keyid query fails with 0xFFFF.  Essentially bricking my cards. 
I am trying to figure out why this is happening.
Is there a way i can restore the se to continue testing?

Factory reset is not working. Am am afraid to continue as 5 cards currently now 'bricked'

Hi Kan,

Power cycling does not resolve the issue. 

Yes I am using the P&T MW. 
I have run many demos successfully. 
I have done a lot of testing (injecting keys , deleting keys) for app mods and improvements, (all over NFC) But some of the SE's are now not responsive to object (keyid) queries. getmemory and UID work without issue on the problem cards.

I have attached 2 log files.
One is using a good working se, inject an object, and readidlist.

Second is using a 'bricked' se, inject an object (which seems to work, but cannot confirm), and readidlist failure.

Thanks , any assistance to help rectify this is appreciated! I want to get my bricked cards back online if i can!

Thanks for the info! I noticed the failure log didn't have the failure log from the beginning, the issue happened when the APDU log was interrupted by your application log, so I am wondering if you have tried any MW demo with the bad card on your hands? Was the result the same? Please kindly clarify.

Hi @RJOLSEN ,

Did you perform power recycle on your card ? Did it work?

Was your application based on the plug & trust MW? 

Have you tried to run any MW demo with your card? Did it work? 

If you have the APDU command log when this issue happened, we may review it for analyzation.
