Hi,

background:S32G,A53 using QNX

I want to know if I enable the function of Inline ECC in DDR subsystem,

1.could the function detect the location where the memory is broken ?

2.could the function address the specific memory area using Inline ECC while other memory disabled

3.can nxp supply the mature solution for purpose upside?

Because not all the content in the memory is safe related, and I do not need to protect this content.

Ans: Inline ECC in DDR subsystem comes with SEC/DEC which means single error correction and double error detection of memory corruption. Inline ECC will detect corruption on DDR memory.

2.could the function address the specific memory area using Inline ECC while other memory disabled

Ans: Customer can select the portion of memory to be used for safety function.
