In Figure 787 of the CAN HUB (CE_CAN_HUB) section within Part 10 LLCE of the 32E series, what do the abbreviations OCT/FQ/STXA/AW signify, and what are their specific functions? Particularly, STXA and AW are not explained anywhere in the entire document.

Hello,

Thanks for your post.

1. OCT is the On-chip transmitter, The logic determines if any of the CAN modules contributing to a network have won arbitration and are now the bus transmitter.

2. FQ is the Fault qualifier,  the logic will qualify any of the 6 FCCU fault reactions with a configuration register

3. STXA is the Suppress TX arbitration

4. AW is Arbitration win, the last two signals are used for the internal arbitration in CAN HUB

Is it correct to understand that the acceleration method for the LLCE in the S32 series is primarily achieved through software-based routing and forwarding? In reality, the hardware only contains a lookup table, while the forwarding of destinations is entirely handled by software?
