Hello,

I am currently working with the S32K396 MCU and would like to implement RDC-less functionality using the SGEN peripheral.

I am using the S32 Design Studio and the RTD model for Basic Software configuration.

Assuming that the SGEN is properly configured, I would like to know which peripheral I can use to output the signal generated by SGEN so that I can observe it on an oscilloscope.

Additionally, which MCAL driver(s) should be configured in order to use the SGEN module?

Lastly, is it even possible to output a sine wave generated by SGEN to a physical pin?

Hello,

I am using the S32 Design Studio and the RTD model for Basic Software configuration.

SGEN is not currently supported by RTD.

You can use baremetal example code which is on our web for single motor control kit:

https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/development-boards-and-designs/MCSPTR2AK396

There is set HW trigger, but you can modify it according to your needs.

Yes. Refer to IOMUX table attached to reference manual.
