functional group properties question

Hi Nxp experts,

I opened a few examples, found the functional group is like: PortContainer_0_VS_0, and some examples the functional group is: PortContainer_0_BOARD_InitPeripherals.

What is the purpose of the Functional Group, and is it possible to modify it manually?
