What is the relationship between MCAL and SDK?Is there any difference in software quality?How do you choose in a project?

Hello,

There is no relationship between SDK and MCAL.

SDK is more like simple example SW, but MCAL is fully qualified for ASIL-D standard and production.

If you are going to mass production for example in automotive then MCAL is the way which customers choose.

You can use SDK but it offers only a fragment MCAL functionality. It really depends on what are you going to develop.

For MCAL you will need also compilers validated for MCAL like GHS/windriver.
