Hi !

At any point of time only  one TPL Transceiver is active on the bus i.e., Half duplex. So can we use 2 SPI's instead of 3 as we have Enable options for 2 transceivers as shown in the figure below ?

SPI1 used as Master and SPI2 is used as SlaveSPI1 used as Master and SPI2 is used as Slave

R!

Hello Vishal,

The MCU has 3 LPSPI instances + FlexIO that can emulate SPI.

So why you don't use it?

Anyway, we can't confirm that your proposed solution will work.

This is really an application issue.

If you have any specific questions on the LPSPI / FlexIO WH, please let me know,

Regards,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for responding ! Flex IO is being used for an other application peripheral(memory). It will be helpful if  you can point out the drawbacks of using 2 SPI modules then I  can think of emulating SPI through External IC or USART.

Hello @Vishal_Pandey,

It is difficult for me to review the design because I don't know the use case.

If the two transceivers don't start transfers at the same it, it should be feasible.

As I said, it is an application issue.

If you have any questions on the LPSPI, FlexIO modules or the MCU overall, please let me know,

Regards,

Daniel
