Does FS26 SBC have pin to pin replacement chip, like FS65?

We need to supply the MCU, but we do not want to use FS26.

Thanks for your quick reply, Jozef. We are using S32K344 MCU.

Dear Jay,

thank you for your answer. For the S32K344 there is only one recommended SBC. It is indeed the FS26.

There is also an EVB S32K3X4EVB-T172, with S32K344 and FS26 and other components on it. To the S32K3X4EVB-T172 there are design files, which you can take as reference for your design, lot of documents which helps you with your design and dedicated software. Please check the S32K3 product page and S32K3X4EVB-T172 EVB page.

I would strongly recommend you to use the dedicated SBC for the MCU you are using. It was tested and is guaranteed that it will work correctly. Unfortunately we do not have a drop in replacement for the FS26. It would be very difficult (although not impossible) to design a new application for S32K344 MCU with other PMICs/SBCs. Is there a reason, why you don't want to use the dedicated FS26 with the S32K344?

With Best Regards,

Jozef

Dear Jay,

For the FS65 we have a pin to pin compatible FS45 SBC. But the FS26 and FS65 are not pin to pin compatible. Please state what MCU you are using and we can offer you a suitable/tailored PMIC or SBC. Please check this link for a list of recommended PMICs and SBCs for NXP MCUs. Please check this link for recommended PMICs and SBCs if you use an MCU from other Vendor.
