SAF S32K Safety library

Hi,

I am currently using the S32K341 microcontroller with RTD version 5.0.0 and S32 Design Studio 3.6.0. I would like to install the SAF Safety Library, but I have not been able to find it on the NXP website.

Could you please guide me on where to download it or how to proceed with the installation?

Hi @Omkar9903,

You can download the SPD (evaluation) package from the Automotive Software Package Manager. If you are looking for the SAF package (premium), please help me by contacting your distributor.

Just keep in mind that SAF package was tested in S32DS v3.5, as stated in the release notes: 

   - S32 Design Studio 3.5 RTM Update 13 for K39x, K3xx and M2xx

I’m looking to use the S32K3 Safety Software Framework (SAF) under the Feature-Limited Evaluation License not Safety Peripherals Drivers (SPD) 1.0.5. However, the link you shared for the Automotive Software Package Manager. does not showing the SAF Evaluation version.

Could you please guide me on how to download this software?

Hi @Omkar9903,

I believe only SPD is available through the NXP portal. Please help me by contacting your local NXP representative/FAE for the correct package.
