HI :

When I turned on the security boot function, JLink couldn't connect directly to the MCU. When I use S32DS to simulate a code that does not open Secure boot, JLink can reconnect again. Is this normal? Is there a way to connect with jlink directly with Secureboot on.

Hi @youxi

Please clarify what you mean by "does not open Secure boot"? Could you provide more details about your code, the configurations, or any details?

Hi @VaneB

"does not open Secure boot" means that this bit of IVT (Image Vector Table (references pointers (addresses) to different system images) is not set to 1

Hi @youxi

When using the PE micro debugger for program downloading and debugging, users need to select the appropriate FLASH algorithm according to the type of HSE firmware installed, otherwise, it will cause download errors. I am afraid that for the Jlink devices, we do not have information about the specific requirements when HSE/Secure Boot is active. Please contact Segger for further support.

Sorry for the inconvenience.
