S32K344 OTA

Hi,

I downloaded the S32K3xx OTA Demo installation package SW32K3_OTADEMO_0.8.0_D2203.exe from NXP website, and used the installed original project to verify the HSE function on the S32K344 engineering board.

When I verify the HSE function of the OTA Demo project of S32K344, the error code 0x80 CRYPTO_RET_OPERATION_TIMEOUT is returned for all HSE functions, and the reference manual does not contain reference measures for this problem.How should I troubleshoot this problem?

Hi Alex,

S32K344_HSE_OTA/readme.md mentions that the target device should be an S32K344 with the AB_SWAP HSE firmware installed.

Have you installed the AB_SWAP HSE firmware on the S32K344 engineering board?

Hi Robin,

The project has a Siul2_Port_Ip_Example_S32K344.bin involved in compiling, which I think is AB_SWAP HSE firmware file. According to you, should I download the HSE AB SWAP file such as S32K344_HSE_FW_INSTALL_V_0_1_2_1.elf to the chip first?

You should install HSE AB SWAP to the S32K344 first.  Sorry I don't know where you got S32K344_HSE_FW_INSTALL_V_0_1_2_1.elf. As far as I know, 0.1.2.1 is for S32K312(not S32K344). Do you have HSE FW 0.1.1.0 for S32K344?

I don't have HSE FW 0.1.1.0 for S32K344.I can't find it on the DocStore.Where should I apply for permission to download this software?

I can't find how to install HSE AB SWAP in the installation Manual S32K344_HSE_Service_API_Reference_Manual.pdf. Should I download s32k344_hse_fw_1.5.0_2.40.0_pb230807.bin.pink to S32K344 through S32DS software.
