Hi,
we are interested in using both RMII and QuadSPI interfaces at the same time on S32K344 in BGA package. Similar question was already posted here:
https://community.nxp.com/t5/S32K/S32K344-RMII-QSPI/td-p/1416828
The difference is that topic was about S32K344 in MaxQFP172 package. Does the same apply for the S32K344 in BGA257 package?
There are enough dedicated pins to route both RMII and QSPI, but we wanted to double check because of the "Pad type" for those pins in "S32K344_IOMUX.xlsx"
We were thinking about using one of the two configurations below. Green cell indicates the pin was used to route the signal on the left side. There is also a "Pad Type" column which corresponds to the pin in green. The red cell indicate the pin is used for something else (QSPI in this case).
Option A (the same pinout as in the S32K3X4EVB-Q257):

Option B:

Is it possible to use one of these two configurations in order to have both RMII and QSPI functionalities at the same time? Is pad type fast enough for RMII use?
Additionally, there is a "S32K34x_Ethernet Use cases" tab in the "S32K344_IOMUX.xlsx" table which only mentions MII+QSPI, there is nothing about RMII+QSPI.
Best regards,
Matej
