S32K312EVB-Q172 debug using Lauterbach debugger

I am using Lauterbach debugger to flash and debug code on EVB.

I am making use of demo cmm files provided along with T32 lauterbach SW.

Whenever SYStem.UP command is executed, it is giving error as Debugger is in down state.

On EVB all jumpers are in its default state.

Hi @AshishDargad,

Could you confirm if the status LEDs from the EVB are all on, as described from the getting started?

Have you tested other debuggers on the EVB? You can also follow this trouble shooting guide from Lauterbach: [Arm] SYStem.Up / SYStem.Attach returns "debug port fail" - Knowledgebase / FAQs by core architectur....

LED D1, D2, D4, D5 are on when 12 V supply is connected. I have only Lauterbach debugger. I already checked the Lauterbach link you mentioned but it did not work.

Why there are two JTAG connectors on EVB? Please refer attached image. When I initially attached debugger to green color highlighted connector, it does not work. When I connect it to J12 highlighted with pink color, it worked.

Also problem is that I do not find JTAG connector highlighted with green color in design files schematic and PCB layout. I can find only J12 connector.

Hope this post will help others who have same confusion as me.

Hi @AshishDargad,

The pink interface you highlighted refers to J12, which is the debug connector for the S32K312 MCU. The J41 interface is connected to the On-Board debugger for communication with the MK26.
