Not sure what you are asking for as it is described in manual you have posted.
You simply can reset the SWT counter instead of triggering micro reset:
You will use it in case when non critical application timeout SWT but you have more important tasks running on other cores.
As there is only one system reset, you do not want always reset the whole micro.
