S32K148 ftm resolver ABZ

Hi all,

I have a question regarding the S32K148 and its ability to read ABZ signals from a resolver.

PTD10>>FTM2_QD_PHB

PTD11>>FTM2_QD_PHA

PTD12>>FTM2_CH2

I’m using the FTM Quadrature Decoder (QD) function to capture the A and B signals, and I would like to clear the FTM counter when the Z signal rises, in order to ensure that any errors are cleared.

Is it correct to configure PTD12 as an input capture pin for this purpose?

From your description, it is not necessary to set PTD12 as input capture.

It should also be possible to set it as GPIO port edge interrupt, which seems simpler.
