S32K148 Ethernet Prototype

I have purchased two S32K148EVB MCUs and two ADTJA1101-RMII ENET adapter for set up my research project, I have installed S32D IDE version 3.6.

I couldn't able to find example projects for S32K148 in the IDE, I want to setup a communication between two s32K148 MCUs over automotive ethernet.

hello petrS,

I have executed the example program (Phy_148 & lwip server and client program), its working in my setup. 
I want to establish a communication between two S32K148 EVB by sending automotive ethernet packets using MAC/IP protocol.
As I new to this NXP microcontroller, I need to know how can I communicate between two MCUs without using media convertor.

Background of our project:

We are trying to send ethernet packets in the network and analyzing the traffic and inducing some DOS attack and source spoofing attack to evaluate the Ethernet security.

if you install S32K1 RTD and TCPIP stack you can find some demo examples.
Below picture is for RTD2.0.0 and TCPIP 2.0.0

where I can find the RTD and TCPIP to install. Also I have doubt that which IDE should be used for S32K148EVB - S32DS platform or ARM IDE.

I am new to work with these controllers can you please provide me with the link for documentation for working with ENET for 148EVB

download RTD and TCPIP from

You can follow below guide how to do that, but also read package's Release note to know how to install.

It is recommended to use S32DS for S32 platform, use some latest version (3.5 or 3.6) and latest RTD and respective referenced SW.

Attached is some workshop presentation with examples too, this can be useful. 
But given examples was done in old S32DS and SDK, will not work in new one.

I have installed RTD, TCIP Stack and FreeRTOS, As you mentioned, the attached Zip example will not work in latest IDE. I have few questions as mentioned below.

1. Is there any documentation available to working with ethernet

2. What does example lwip contains, How can I establish a communication between two S32K148 MCUs using phy TJA1101

3. Does any documentation or training videos to familiarize with S32 Design studio for developing a project, selecting the pins and generating the code

1) I am not aware of additional one
2) you can refer to CPIP_USER_MANUAL available in stack installation folder ...\stacks\tcpip\doc\.
