I was exploring the s32k144EVB for a project. I shall divide the post into two parts for better understanding.
PART A
I am facing the following issues in understanding :
1. Difference between ADC0 and ADC1.
2. Difference between LPSPI0, LPSPI1 and LPSPI2.
There is one more query, to which I have attached a few screenshots for your referral.
As I can see in the schematic layout, there are multiple port numbers for the same function, lets say LPSPI0_SOUT. The port number PTB1, PTB4 and PTE2, all have the port information of LPSPI0_SOUT. There are couple of other functions as well (for eg. can, uart, etc). Could anyone help me out in figuring why more than one port is assigned with the same functionality?



PART B
As for the other functionality, for eg. CAN. There are almost three types in the schematic, CAN0, CAN1 and CAN2. Could anyone help me out in figuring the difference between all these three notations?

I also want to know, in-spite of both the ports being named after CAN0, why only the PTE ports are used for CAN RX and TX, and why not the other ports?
