I am working on comstar and using the controller s32k322 and we are using EB Tresos to configure the BSW.

We are also looking at the XBIC(Crossbar Integrity Checker) configuration and not able to understand  how to configure it. The reference manual does not give much information. Is it ok to leave the default settings ? We are currently using it for a motor control application and suspect that configuring this peripheral would give us better performance. please advice.

Hi @BalasubramaniyanS,

XBIC is a safety feature.

Refer to the S32K3 Safety Manual that is available in the S32K3 Secure Files under an NDA.

It is covered by the S32 Safety Software Framework (SAF)

https://www.nxp.com/design/design-center/software/functional-safety-software/s32-safety-software-fra...

Refer to S32K3_SAF_SCHECK_UM.pdf

Regards,

Daniel
