S32DS 3.6 Installation guide

Hello Team,

Which Software Version of S32DS 3.6 is working and Support RTD6 and RTD3 ?
I have installed 3.6.4 while open peripherals i am getting error, I have attached.
Below i am attaching installation guide for S32D 3.5 version, if you have same document for S32DS 3.6 then please share.

I need to install 3.6.6 and related RTD package.
What about error i am getting any update with respect to that?

Which RTD version was the original project based on? Will the problem still occur after installing the corresponding RTD?

The Project is based on RTD6

Please check the Build Version of your project.
For example:
Siul2_Port_Ip_Example_S32K344_RTD600\RTD\src\Clock_Ip_Data.c
* Build Version : S32K3_RTD_6_0_0_D2506_ASR_REL_4_7_REV_0000_20250610

If possible, please send me your project separately. Let me try opening your project with S32DS v3.6.x to see if it also causes an error.

Please confirm at your end which RTD and which 3.6 version is support then i can install that same version

Please read 009-006-252-003-246-002 WEB - ARMv7M_MPU GCC S32K344 readme.rtf :

SafeRTOS_S32K344_Demo_Web Instructions

This Demo application has been created with S32DS IDE 3.6.4with ARM GCC 11.4 for the S32K344 Boards.

Installing software:

  - In the IDE, from Help>S32 Extensions and Updates make sure you install the latest versions of:

  - GNU ARM PEmicro Interface Debugging Support

  - GDB Client for Arm Embedded Processors

  - S32 Design Studio Platform package

  - S32K3xx development package

  - Download RTD 6.0.0 for S32K3 from NXP website. from the downloaded file Install the .exe file add the remaining .zip files from S32DS IDE Help>S32 Extensions and Updates/Add sites.

So please install S32DS v3.6.4 and S32K3 RTD 6.0.0.

Regarding the error, I suggest you contact WHIS technical support, which provided the example.

I suspect it might be because you haven't installed: 34-185-AN-001-i3.0-Installing and Using the Eclipse STATEVIEWER Plug-in.pdf

A1: Unfortunately, there is no current way to install multiple RTD packages in the same instance, as a workaround, you can install multiple instances for S32DS like:
S32DS.3.6.6_S32K3_RTD300
S32DS.3.6.6_S32K3_RTD600
and then install specific RTD to each instance.

A2: The installation process for S32DSv3.6.x is no longer as complicated as that for S32DSv3.5.x.

At 3:40 in the video RTD5.0_download_install_configure.mp4, you will see many examples after the S32K3 RTD is installed.

For you, you need to download and install S32K3 Real-Time Drivers Version 3.0.0 (SW32K3_RTD_4.4_R21-11_3.0.0_D2303_DS_updatesite.zip), not RTD 5.0.0.

Note install NXP GCC for Arm Embedded Processors v10.2 build 1728
