I have installed s32 design studio 3.6.3 RFP Windows installer software in my system. I am unable to get start with configuration tool to map MCU pins. Steps are little confusing and also am getting error saying

"The project does not contain any configuration/source file to import".

And Manage SDK Components under s32 configuration tool is greyed out unable to add it.

Kindly help me how to use this s32 design studio configuration tool to map the signals.

Hello,

And Manage SDK Components under s32 configuration tool is greyed out unable to add it.

This indicates that you are missing SDK /RTD drivers installed in S32DS.

Manage SDK Components" is greyed out

This usually happens when:

  • The SDK is not properly installed or linked.
  • The project was created without associating an SDK.
  1. Check SDK installation:

    • Go to Help > S32DS Extensions and Updates.
    • Make sure the correct SDK for your MCU is installed (e.g., S32K1xx SDK).
  2. Link SDK to your project:

    • Right-click on your project > Properties.
    • Go to S32DS Project Settings > SDKs.
    • Select the appropriate SDK from the list.
  3. Reopen the Configuration Tool:

    • Once the SDK is linked, the "Manage SDK Components" should be active.

Best regards,
Peter
