RUNING CAN FD

I am writing to inquire about S32K14xseries (S32K142 and S32K146) if I am going to change form using CAN to CAN FD. Is it usable ? ( both of them ) or What needs to be changed or add something?  such as Circuit  Connectors (  Software and hard ware )

be careful about the flexcan instance differences between S32K142 and S32K146,

2.and the CAN transceiver needs to support CAN FD.

1.can i make sure that we dont need to replace pin and connectors
2.We need to use specific software  (Coding) to use CAN FD
3. Is  this possible to find out that it can run CAN FD definitely? (coding online)

1.for some package, the s32k146 is a pin-to-pin compatible superset of S32K142, so I would say yes for your first question.

2.you need to do some special configuration for CAN FD, and you can use loop-back to test the CAN module.
