RTD drivers for MC33774A

Hi,

we are using the MC33774A AFE in our non-AUTOSAR project. Since there is no non-AUTOSAR MC33774A driver available, we are using the AUTOSAR driver. In the example code, I noticed additional AUTOSAR drivers, such as GPT, Direct SPI, and BMS_Common, which are required for BCC_774A functionality. My question is: is it acceptable to use all these AUTOSAR drivers in a non-AUTOSAR project?

Hi @mohanagv,

It is fine to use both AUTOSAR and non-AUTOSAR drivers in the project, but there are some limitations when mixing them:

1. It is forbidden to use the same hardware instance in HLD and LLD (E.g. if SPI1 is used in HLD context, it cannot be used also through IPL)

2. IP layer doesn’t provide Tresos configuration. It can be configured only on Design Studio (CT).

3. IP layer cannot be used in AUTOSAR applications, as it does not satisfy ASR compliance constraints (DEM, DET, Multicore). IP layer should not be seen as a CDD.
