Mcu_* files are not generated

Hi,

I added Mcu driver and Rte_Mcu utilities but the following files are not generated even if "Update Code".

Steps:

File -> New -> S32DS Application Project

Manage SDK Components

Tick the following driver:

Det, Dio, Mcu, Port, Siul2_Dio, Siul2_Port, clock, osif

Click OK

Update Code

After following your steps, I can add the components, and compile the project:

Are you using RTD 3.0.0, and installed all of the packages, as shown in the getting started guide?

Thanks Julian! The missing step was the configuration of Components and Peripherals. I was able to replicate the Port_Example now. Thanks!

Hi @s32k3_newbie,

I think the issue may be in configuration before generating the files, specifically with the RTE component.

The functions inside RTE package from the RTDs are provided by NXP as stubs for AUTOSAR SchM integration. If you are targeting AUTOSAROS, these will need to be replaced by the BSW integrator with a third-party vendor (be it Vector, Elektrobit, etc.). 

Are you using an example? Or creating a project from scratch?

I'm trying to create a new project bare metal, i.e. without OS. I was trying to replicate the example in getting-started-with-s32k396-bga-dc1-evaluation-board:GS-S32K396-BGA-DC1 . I checked which drivers I need to add from that example.

The example from the Getting Started guide is Port_Example_s32K396. After importing it, I can see the only drivers needed are Dio, Mcu and Port:

After updating the code, I can build the example correctly.

Could you share your steps for replicating the project?
