I am current using MCSXTE2BK142 kit and its reference sw for 2 shunt.

Motor runs OK in open loop and halts when shifts to close loop.

Current waveforms from MCAT tool is not sinusoidal. Please refer attachment. Actual current waveform when observed on scope are sinusoidal. ( checked in open loop operation)

i doubt that the current acquisition is not happening at correct time (in mid of PWM when lower mosfets are on, please refer attachment.)

Please support to resolve the issue.

Hi,

Thank you so much for your interest in our products and for using our community.

I have test the example MCSXTE2BK142_PMSM_FOC_2Sh and the motor does not stop in closed loop. I consider that it is possibly a tuning problem with the motor you are using. For that I recommend you consult the app note AN4642. If you are using the motor of MCSPTE1AK144 kit, use the PMSM_appconfig.h from the MCSPTE1AK144_PMSM_FOC_2Sh example.

Regarding the current acquisition, I see that you are observing the COCO signal of ADC1, but if you check Figure 12 (AN12235), IPHB and UDCBUS are being measured with ADC1.

Hope it helps you.

Have a nice day!
