IAR Embedded Workbench Problem In S32DS for ARM

Hi!

I follow the use guide (HOWTO_Install_IAR_Eclipse_plugin_into_S32_Design_Studio_for_ARM.pdf) as attached file to install the IAR plug on s32 design studio. 

1. Install IAR Plugin manager

       

When asking to enter the path to the IAR Embedded Workbench SDI, those selected by default appear.

       

I select the path C:\Program Files (x86)\IAR Systems\Embedded Workbench 8.4, and give it "apply" and "ok".

       

it does not save the changes, I open the preference window again and it keeps the default.

       

It's a problem because without this, I can't debug with the IAR.

Hi @drack 

You did not mention if you made the steps in section 2 (Configure IAR plugins in IAR Embedded Workbench plugin manager).

I mentioned this because I just want to make sure that you followed those steps and with this be able to see where the problem is.

Also, make sure that your IAR version is one of the recommended in the release notes.
