Hard Fault in ImportPlainSymKeyReq() when running SecureBootAppNoteDemo on S32K344EVB

Dear NXP Support Team,

I am currently trying to run the sw745310 SecureBootAppNoteDemo with AB Swap on the S32K344EVB-T172 board.

During execution, I encounter a Hard Fault when the application calls the function ImportPlainSymKeyReq().

Could you please help me analyze what might be causing this issue or suggest how to debug it further?

Thank you very much for your support.

Have you followed procedure as described in readme.txt file, step by step? It is needed to built App project first then Cfg

Hi @davidtosenovjan

To be compatible with the S32K344 EVB board, I reconfigured the corresponding pins.
I changed the package from BGA 257 to MQFP 172.
I rebuilt the application code first, then rebuilt the configuration (cfg) code.
I also observed that some logs were printed via UART.
From the call stack, can you point out which part looks abnormal?

I am apologizing, I was out of office for couple of days.

Is there any progress on your side?

Are you using the same S32DS and RTD versions as specified?

Unfortunately this appnote is a bit outdated in comparsion to current RTD releases.

Secure boot is also covered in HSE demo examples
