Hi everyone,
I'm currently working with S32 Design Studio for S32 Platform v. 3.4 and it occurs to me that there isn't direct flash programming option.
Is the debug feature the only way to program my micro (I'm using a S32K144)?
Also, how could I perform a memory dump of my program?
I used the Flash Programmer Task in Code Warrior when I was working with a 9S12ZVC and it worked perfectly, is there something similar for the S32K1?
Thanks.
Best regards,
Giacomo

you can take a look at the documents :
PnE_GDB_Server_Debug_Configuration_User_Guide.pdf
this documents under you install path, such of mine:C:\NXP\S32DS.3.4\S32DS\help\pdf
I don't know if this infos you are looking for.

Jim,
There were quite useful, but it seems that what I was looking for isn't yet implemented for
the S32 Platform version of S32DS.
For example, in this post HOWTO: download separate elf/srec/hex file to microcontroller using S32 Design Studio your colleague refers to the flash programming support in IDE (the one with the Lightning symbol), but for what I've understood this feature is only available in S32DS PA, am I right?
Do you plan on adding this functionalities also in S32DS for S32 Platform?
Thanks,
Giacomo
I don't see any difference, I feel that the function is the same, but there is no shortcut icon
The difference is in terms of time, because everytime it starts the debug procedure, while I simply wanted to load my code into the flash
