Hello,

In NXP model-based design toolbox, I'm not getting Bcc_771 blockset in battery examples.

Can you please let me know if I need to install any additional blocksets ?

Bcc_772, Bcc_774, Bcc_775 is there but Bcc_771 not found.

And also, can I get the step-by-step procedure to to get cell voltages, current, temperature of battery pack using this blockset along with balancing logic?

It will be helpful, Thanks !

Hello @bhushan7051 and @petervlna

The Model-Based Design Toolbox for BMS supports only the MC33774A, MC33775A and MC33772C, the parts used for the main HVBMS reference designs, because the generated code from Simulink, when used in conjunction with the MBDT for S32K3, is based on the NXP Real-Time Drivers and BMS SDK which do not provide support for the MC33771B/MC33771C.

However, to use the FRDM33771BSPIEVB board you have to pair it with an S32K144, and please download and install the MBDT for S32K1 from here https://www.mathworks.com/matlabcentral/fileexchange/64740-nxp-support-package-s32k1xx The latest version supports both MC3377[1/2][B/C].

Regards,

Marius

Hello,

Since I didn't get any feedback from BMS team I am looking into this from available materials.

I can see that 771 is not present in the packages available for S32K358:

However I do not understand the point of FRDM33771BSPIEVB which has demo in Codewarrior, how it is connected to the BCC_77x examples.

I see demo for BCC_S32K144_MC33771_FreeMASTER and BCC_S32K144_Monitoring where the documentation is in XML format included.

Could you be more specific here?

And also, can I get the step-by-step procedure to to get cell voltages, current, temperature of battery pack using this blockset along with balancing logic?

There is BMS Software Installation Guide where in chapter 5 is the basic how to work with examples:

https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&source=web&rct=j&opi=89978449&url=https://community.nxp.com/pwmxy876...

The documentation on API is present in RTD package in folder doc.

Also here is tutorial:

Best regards,

Peter
